Downtown Riverside, at 3737 Main Street, Suite 300, is where the state Division of Workers’ Compensation (DWC) keeps its only listed district office in Riverside County, and the city’s ZIP codes point to it. Riverside’s 92501 and 92503 through 92508 all returned it in the DWC’s ZIP code locator in October 2026.

Our office is in Newport Beach, in Orange County, and the firm takes injured workers’ cases to the Riverside district office.

By train, the DWC lists Metrolink’s Riverside Downtown station about a mile away. By bus, it lists the Riverside Transit Agency, including Route 50, the “Jury Trolley.”

Getting into the building

Every visitor checks in at the building’s security desk, signs in and shows a picture ID, and the DWC says security asks this of everyone in a group. If the district office’s floor reaches capacity, building security may ask the rest of a worker’s group to wait in the ground-floor food court until the hearing is over.

Which nearby ZIP codes go to Riverside?

The same locator returned the Riverside office for Corona (92879, 92880, 92881, 92882 and 92883) and for Moreno Valley (92551, 92553, 92555 and 92557). Corona’s ZIP codes start with 928, like many in Orange County, but the city is in Riverside County and its cases are listed for Riverside.

Live in Riverside, hurt in Orange County?

Take a Riverside resident hurt at a job in Orange County. Under Labor Code section 5501.5, residence on the filing date points to Riverside County and the place of injury (for cumulative trauma, the last injurious exposure) points to Orange County, so the Application for Adjudication of Claim, the form that opens the case, may be filed in either. With our firm as counsel, the lawyer’s-county option also points to Orange County, unless the employer objects within 30 days of receiving the information request form that names it.

How we handle Riverside cases

We read the claim papers and the medical reports, then go over where the worker lives, where the injury happened and where the case can be filed.

When we take a case on, the application goes to a county the statute allows and the client agrees to, and we handle the deadlines, the qualified medical evaluator (QME) process and every appearance. In a case filed here, conferences are held by video and a trial takes place at 3737 Main Street.

The Alvord Unified School District, Riverside City College, Collins Aerospace, J Ginger Masonry and the Riverside Medical Clinic complete the list of the ten largest.

What we handle

Common questions

Does the firm handle cases at the Riverside WCAB?

Yes. The firm handles cases at five district offices: Riverside, Santa Ana, Anaheim, Los Angeles and San Diego. Its office is in Newport Beach.

Is there parking near the Riverside WCAB?

The DWC says downtown parking during business hours is limited to curbside meters and city-managed lots and garages. A garage on Market Street between University Avenue and Mission Inn Boulevard gives the first 90 minutes at no charge, and its back exit faces the entrance to the California Tower. There is also a small lot on University Avenue at the Main Street light.

Can a Riverside case be moved to another office later?

Labor Code 5501.6 lets either side petition the appeals board for a change of venue, and the change is granted for good cause. The petition must state its reasons specifically, and a request made for the convenience of witnesses must list the witnesses, their addresses and the substance of their testimony. The DWC’s I&A Guide 20 explains how to file one.

Which DWC office serves San Bernardino County?

San Bernardino County has its own district office, at 464 W. Fourth Street, Suite 239, San Bernardino, phone 909-383-4341. Some western San Bernardino County ZIP codes are listed for the Pomona office instead; in October 2026 the DWC’s locator returned Pomona for Chino’s 91710.
